Acute diarrhea is a sudden onset of diarrhea episodes. Diarrhea due to any cause may occur after eating, as the simple act of eating stimulates muscle movement within your large intestine to empty your bowels. Postprandial diarrhea or PD can happen quite unexpectedly. If I wait too long, I break into a sweat. I immediately feel relief after going to the bathroom, but I am usually a little weak. This type of diarrhea is often unexpected, and the feeling to use the restroom can be quite urgent. A person can blame bacteria if their explosive diarrhea occurs after eating or drinking contaminated food or water. Food poisoning is a common cause of experiencing an unpleasant episode of explosive diarrhea after eating. When ever I dine out, doesn't matter what restaurant, within a half hour of eating I usually have extreme cramping followed by explosive diarrahea. Bacteria that cause diarrhea-producing infections include salmonella and E. coli. When this occurs after eating, it is known as postprandial diarrhea. Diarrhea that happens after you eat a meal is known as postprandial diarrhea (PD). Bacteria, viruses, or parasites can contaminate food and cause serious intestinal infections. Contaminated food and fluids are common sources of bacterial infections. This can be very embarrasing if I have things to do after dining. Along with watery diarrhea, you will probably experience severe stomach cramping, nausea, and vomiting.
